What are Summer Wednesdays?

  • Summer Wednesdays is our first session-based lesson program.  It is great for families who are looking to swim for the summer only.  With the commitment of a once-a-week lesson, it allows swimmers the flexibility to participate in other activities.

Who is Welcome to Attend?

  • Any current Nitro 1 or Nitro 2 swimmers are welcome to join Summer Wednesdays in addition to their current enrollment!
  • New swimmers that are looking to get into lessons this summer.

What They'll Learn

  • During Summer Wednesdays, swimmers will be learning either the Nitro 1 or Nitro 2 curriculum.
  • Nitro 1 is our fun, basic learn to swim program with a 3:1 student teacher ratio. It begins as basic as learning to do a successful submersion for five seconds and finishes with 20 yards of backstroke and 20 yards of beginning freestyle. Nitro 1 also has an emphasis on safety – swimmers are taught a rolling recovery, as well as a jump recovery.
  • Nitro 2 is our Advanced Curriculum with a 4:1 student-teacher ratio. Swimmers will see more success in Nitro 2 if they are already comfortable in the water, can do a basic backstroke across a pool, and are ready for the fast-paced structure of this dynamic curriculum. If you are unsure about whether Nitro 2 or Nitro 1 should be your starting point, defer to Nitro 1 and gain the confidence of Nitro 1 before undertaking Nitro 2. Students will learn all four competitive strokes and will be ready to join our team after graduating.

How Much Does it Cost?

  • The cost is $277.65 for the session.
  • $40 Annual Registration Fee is required (if applicable).

Please Note: A request to cancel an enrollment must be received more than 14 days prior to the start of the first class, and it will result in a credit being issued to the customer’s Swim School account.  The credit is good for one year from the date of the original payment.  No other cancellation requests will be granted.
