High School Training: Elizabeth Chen – Elizabeth is a great example of what consistent attendance and hard work can accomplish. She rarely misses practice and isn’t afraid of A-intervals, so during test sets, coaches are always impressed. We’re excited to say that Elizabeth is moving up to the Senior group this coming month, and while we’ll certainly miss her work ethic and attitude in High School Training, we know that she’ll excel under Coach Jeremy in Senior. You’ve done a stupendous job, Liz! – Coach Alex
TAGS 2: Vincent Ribeiro – Vincent is the embodiment of the term “Work hard, Play hard”. Vincent can be the goofiest and funniest guy in the group while at the same time leading sets and just generally kicking butt in practice. Vincent has had great success since Short Course Season and he is continuing that right into Long Course. We as coaches are proud to watch Vincent continue to improve and proper. Keep up your hard work!!! – Coach Flo
TAGS 1: Rae Friesz – One of the hardest things to do in swimming is string together consecutive days and weeks of great practices. It takes dedication, proper recovery, lots of focus, and a willingness to be in pain! Rae has clearly done those things, and more, to practice the way she has this May. Rae has also demonstrated great leadership in being vocal, leading by example, and cheering on her teammates! – Coach Elliott
Senior: Sydney Cole – Sydney has been on fire lately and hasn’t looked back. She has stepped up as one of our premier middle to long distance swimmers. About a month ago she really surprised herself on how fast she can swim the 400 during practice. Her training really showed when she swam the 400 FR for the first time at the Distance Meet. Keep up the great work Sydney! – Coach Adrian
National Development: Josh Winn – Josh has brought a train hard and lead by example attitude to the ND group. He has been with the group since April and every practice he comes in ready to work. It doesn’t matter if it’s short, middle, or long distance he gives it a full hearted effort for the whole set. He has even asked to do more distance sets and yardage, which is always music to a coach’s ears. With his work ethic and dedication to training he looks to have a successful summer. – Coach Robert
Bee Cave

National Development: Carson Newman— Carson has been doing a great job of making corrections to her strokes and is really starting to get great awareness for what she is doing in the water. Carson is really becoming a racer and I’m excited to see how all of her hard work pays off. – Coach Scott
National Group: Nick Milikich and Gus Whiteman – Nick and Gus have put together one of their best months of training. They both have concentrated on their technique and improving all four strokes. In addition, they both have been killing dry land workouts at the pool. Each young man pushing the dry land really hard and putting as much effort in it as in the water. They also have been stepping up their training day in and day out working harder then before. It has shown on their test sets this month doing really well on all four test sets. They raced the test sets at a higher level then previously and hitting better times in their sets. Then they both finished off the month with really nice racing and swimming at the Senior Circuit #1 Meet in Rockwall. Nick achieved a lifetime best in the 100 fly and won the 400 IM. Gus achieved a 2nd place and lifetime best in the 100 back and a 5th place finish in the 400 IM breaking5:00 for the 1st time. These guys are setting themselves up for an awesome summer. – Coach Robert
