Socal AG Champs ( from Coach Rob ):
Trip recap:
First let me start by saying this was an awesome trip filled with fast swimming, USC tour by Head Coach Dave Salo into parts of campus other students don’t ever get to see, practicing with San Clemente Aquatics, swimming fast, tour of UCLA campus, dinner on the beach, body surfing in the waves of Santa Monica, and lots of team bonding. All the kids were terrific, on their best behaviors, and it was noticed by several coaches, parents, and officials at the meet. I had numerous people come up and tell me how wonderful and polite group of swimmers I have. Parents thank you for raising such wonderful individuals and give yourselves a big pat on your backs.
I also want to send a huge thank you to Mrs. Stackle for all of her help this past week. She was crucial with logistics, helping swimmers with whatever they needed, and shuttling swimmers around. Last, thank you to Mr. Stackle for helping with some shuttling of swimmers and bringing a pop-up tent for swimmers to sit under shade while at the meet.
Now into specifics about the meet:
Team Scores: 7th Overall with no 13-14 relays and no 12 and under points. You take away 12 and under points and we move up to 3rd or 4th place.
