2010 LC TAGS-Day 1 Recap

Day 1 Recap:

Hi ALL – A few points about the TAGS (Texas Age Group Swimming Championships) meet currently taking place at UT…

1. After the first night (Wednesday) that had the 13-14 800 freestyle and the 13-14  800 Freestyle relays, Nitro was in 8^th place with a total of 8 points. The North Texas Nadadores (the TAGS champions for the last three years in both Short Course AND Long Course) was in 1^st with 53.5 points. For the mathematically challenged out there, we were 45.5 points behind the leaders.

2. Fast forward to today – Thursday – even though we had several events with the 1^st alternate, which means that our swimmer finished in 9^th place in preliminaries in the morning session, and did not qualify to score any possible points in a top 8 Finals heat, we still managed a very good day for Nitro.
